David Morris

David Morris, who was born and raised in the United Kingdom has resided in Santa Barbara since 1980. He began his real estate career in 1984 and joined Sotheby’s International Realty (SIR) in 1990. Prior to joining SIR, David was most recently affiliated with a Santa Barbara real estate firm which specialized in exclusive properties. He began his career with a national company listing and selling high-end properties throughout southern Catifornia and Mexico.

Before his real estate career, David worked in a marketing and sales capacity for several International corporations including Unilever and H.J. Heinz Co., in West Africa and the Caribbean respectively. He has also resided in New York City, Montreal and Toronto, Canada during his career. David, who has maintained strong bonds with his native United Kingdom and the various countries in which he has lived, works with numerous international SIR clients. Extremely active in the world of theatre, David has appeared internationally in both plays and musicals. Locally, he has performed in all of Santa Barbara’s fine theatres and is a past Board Member of the Lobero Theatre and past president of The Ensemble Theatre. For a number of years, he has served as the community liaison ambassador for the Santa Barbara-based Direct Relief International. He often works as a team with his wife, real estate professional Helga Morris.
