Speaking of Stories
at the French Festival
Saturday & Sunday July 17 & 18
11:00am-7:00pm Oak Park
Grab Your Beret and Come Be Part of the Fun!
As a fundraising project Speaking of Stories operates concession booths at the annual French Festival in Oak Park July
17 & 18 (Saturday and Sunday). We are very excited to be part of this great community event and it is a big support for our annual fundraising efforts. But we need your help - we are looking for volunteers to work in the various booths.
The Festival runs from 11 am to 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday. We need volunteers to work 2-4 hour shifts serving Beer & Wine, Soda, or Bottled Water. To join in the fun, email
speakingof@verizon.net or call 966-3875 to sign up for your shift.
Bring along a friend to double the fun! We would like all shifts to be at least 2 hours long, but you are certainly welcome to work longer. We always have lots of fun -- so come indulge your secret desire to be a bartender or soda jerk! We have jobs for everyone, from teens and above.
We promise to have lots of fun and laughs as we serve, and all volunteers
receive a free Speaking of Stories t-shirt.
If you can't volunteer, be sure to come visit the booths during the Festival and buy lots of goodies to help support the Speaking of Stories programs.
Sign up today 966-3875 or speakingof@verizon.net
All proceeds benefit Speaking of Stories literary theatrical programs and education program Word Up.
