PAMELA BELLWOOD-WHEELER
Pamela
Bellwood-Wheeler, whose career has spanned television, movies and stage, struck
a chord with Dynasty fans during her six-year long role as Claudia
Barrows Blaisdal Carrington. In
addition to the long-running Dynasty, Pamela played the lead in the NBC
series Web, hosted Hour Magazine, and directed, hosted and
produced Breakaway. Among many television specials and movies, Pamela has
starred in Double Standard; Deep Dark Secrets; Emily, Emily;
Nourish the Beast; and Murder She Wrote.
Her feature films include Henry Jaglom’s Shopping; Airport;
Serial; The Gift; The Victorian and The Gardener.
On Broadway, Pamela starred in Butterflies are Free, for which she
won several awards; Finishing Touches; The Effects of Gamma Rays on
Man in the Moon Marigolds; and The Tenth
Man.
Pamela lives in
Santa Barbara
with her husband Nik, an internationally- known photographer, and their two
sons. She recently produced and
directed The Vagina Monologues at the Lobero Theater.
