LUIS MORENO
Luis’
professional career as an actor/singer/musician spans more than three decades,
primarily as part of the world-renowned farmworkers theatre company, El Teatro
Campesino. He is best known locally for his collaboration with Francisco González
in the critically acclaimed production of Una Pastorela (A Shepherd’s
Play). His two most recent acting/singing roles were as “Jaques” in the SBCC
Faculty Production of As You Like It
and as “Don Hilarión” in the Zarzuela, La Verbena de la Paloma produced
by Marette Productions, Ltd. Luis is a Lecturer in Theatre Arts at Santa Barbara
City College and UCSB. He serenades with guitar at two local restaurants and has
recorded a CD, Cerca del Mar.
