HENRY BROWN

 

Henry Brown is a busy actor, working in theatre, TV and Films. He has been featured in such TV series as Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, Star Trek: Voyager, and L.A. Law.  His movie credits include George B., Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon III, Scrooged, The Man in a Glass Booth, Heaven’s Fall and Oprah Winfey’s production Their Eyes Were Watching God.  Among his most recent stage performances was as the title character in The Ballad of Billy Lee, an acclaimed one man show about George Washington’s manservant and friend.  Henry appeared in the title role of Gangsta directed by Vince Paterson and at the Mark Taper Forum as Kofi Annan in Pulitzer Prize winner, David Hare’s political drama Stuff Happens, and in Nancy Kwalek’s directed stage reading, Guantanamo.  Henry has performed in numerous Speaking of Stories presentations directed by Maggie Mixsell. His latest projects include the web pilot Blue directed by Perry Lang, the multi-medium presentation Declaration-Vote, directed by Paula Walker/DP Rolfe Kesterman, he appears in Not Easily Broken, directed by Bill Duke, out in theaters now and is the title character in Everyday Black Man, a feature movie, to be released this spring.
