GRETCHEN EVANS
 Gretchen
Evans' career has taken her from
New York
, where she was seen as Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway,
to most of the major cities in the East and Mid-West and
Canada
. Her credits in
Santa Barbara
include more than thirty roles with Ensemble Theatre Company, including Lady
Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest (Drama-Logue award), Blanche
DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire (Drama-Logue award)
and Mrs. Malaprop in The Rivals. She has appeared in three
productions of the Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera: in My Fair Lady as
Mrs.Higgins; in Crazy For You as Mrs. Child/Patricia Fodor; and in The
Unsinkable Molly Brown as Gladys McGlone.
