MAHLI MCGEE
Mahli
McGee has been performing professionally for twenty years. Combining gospel,
blues, jazz and R&B influences, Mahli has toured throughout the United
States as a principal comedienne/singer in the award winning cabaret show Bottoms
Up, and as an opening act for various concert headliners. Mahli was lead
vocalist for Top 40 band "Nitelite" and "The Doo Dah Rhythm
Kings." A Philadelphia native, Mahli has also performed throughout the
Reno-Tahoe area. She also frequently teams up with the finest musicians locally,
performing regularly in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area. Mahli currently has a
recording project in the works and plans to continue her music studies at SBCC.
This is Mahli’s first appearance with Speaking of Stories.
