LISA GATES
Lisa Gates began her career as an actress, improvisational performer and freelance writer. Along the way, she also worked in management roles for membership associations and nonprofits, and event design for PR and marketing firms. Now working as a life balance specialist and coach, she dovetails her creative and work-life experience to helping women move from busyness to productive, purposeful living. Lisa's most recent role as Chris in
Rumors at Santa Barbara City College marked her return to the theatre after a 15-year hiatus. Lisa received a BA in Dramatic Arts from UC Santa Barbara, and studied journalism at Humboldt State University. She received the Kennedy Center National Acting Award in 1989 as well as two nominations for the Irene Ryan Award. She earned her CPCC in coaching from The Coaches Training Institute.
