KRISTINA KULCHIN

Kristina has performed literature since first grade when she was asked to read to her classmates (so she would stop talking in class.)

Having majored in Theatre and Communications from Arizona State, she performed with a troupe of performers, tailoring literature to special interest groups.

As an actress, Kristina received professional credits for her reoccurring roles in television series, including ER, LA Law, and Cagney & Lacey. She starred in the Emmy Award winning Fighting Fish as well as played the role of Barbara in Perfect Crime

Kristina's stage credits include: Kathy in Kathy Goode, Annie in Naked Dancing, Lilith in Generations (performed at the Colony Studio Theatre), Chris in Rumors (performed at the Phoenix Little Theatre), Dorine in Tartuffe (San Diego Repertory), and Tracy in Philadelphia Story (La Jolla Stage Company).

She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she played Isabelle in Measure for Measure.  During her time with Shakespeare and Company she played Kate in Taming of the Shrew.

Today you will find Kristina in Santa Barbara, CA, narrating audio books in her recording studio, directing children's theatre, and painting landscapes. She has raised two independent and creative children, and still marvels at a 30-year marriage to her husband, Steve.
