K. KVASHAY-BOYLE

 

K. Kvashay-Boyle's cult classic Saint Chola is featured in McSweeney's, Best of McSweeney's, Best American Non-Required Reading, the textbooks Outsiders' Rules, and On Scene: A Writer's Guide, included as 100 Distinguished Stories in The Best American Short Stories 2003, recorded twice for KCRW, won the audience award at the Pittsburg Arts and Lectures American Short Reading Series, has been performed at the Los Angeles Armand Hammer Museum, dramatized for multiple audiobooks, taught at Yale and produced as a high school play.  Kvashay-Boyle is a recent graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, at work on her first novel.
