Read
has been acting professionally on the stage and screen for more than thirty years. His feature film credits include
A Lot Like Love, Legally Blonde, Eight Men Out, and Beaches. He has starred in numerous miniseries and television movies including
North & South, Poor Little Rich Girl and The President's Child. He has also seen in recurring roles in the series
American Dreams and Charmed, and starred as Ken Davis for four seasons on the recently concluded series
Wildfire. Currently he is commuting to Mexico City while working on the soon-to-be-seen series
Persons Unknown, and will be also be appearing in the upcoming feature remake of
Fame.
This is James' third appearance with Speaking of Stories. He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Wendy, and their two children.
