ALISON COUTTS


Alison Coutts is pleased to be back for her third reading for Speaking of Stories. She is usually known for her roles with Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara where she has been a member since 1986. Most recently she was seen as Lady Elizabeth Eastlake in Ensemble’s production of the Countess. Other notable performances for ETC include Yvonne in Indiscretions, Sally Truman in Lips Together, Teeth Apart, Regina in Little Foxes, and Maude Mix in A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talkin’, which was her first role with ETC and which she reprised for the 2000 inaugural season on the Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura. Award-winning performances include Frances Black in Light Up the Sky for which she received a 1993-DramaLouge Award and Mary in Serenading Louie, for which she was honored at the first Santa Barbara Independent Awards.
