SUS NARRATIVAS 2002
Come
listen to the works of powerful Latino writers in their native Spanish,
starring John Frey, Santa
Barbara International Film Festival, Phoenix Prize winner 2002.
"Sus Narrativas 2002 intends to explore
the connections between border crossings and storytelling. The borders we cross
are of very different kinds: places,
bodies, traditions, languages, experiences, dreams. The central concept is that
our stories survive, change and grow out of our own travels through the
map or the imagination. When we move, our stories move
with us."

The
show will incorporate music, film and stories designed to appeal to the entire
family and include the works of John Frey, Tomas Rivera, Aberlado Diaz Alfaro,
Sandra Cisneros, Julio Cortazar, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Edwin Augustin
Lozada.
