STEVEN A. SCHUTZMAN

Steven Schutzman was awarded Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artists Grants in Playwriting in 2001 and 2003 and in Fiction in 2000. Over the past two years, twelve productions of his one-acts have been mounted in various theatres across the country. A new one-act blue and darker blue will be published in a forthcoming issue of The Alaska Quarterly Review. His dramatizations of the Edgar Allan Poe stories The Fall of the House of Usher and The Cask of Amontillado have just been published by Brooklyn Publishers. Mr. Schutzman was a finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Center's National Playwright's Conference in 2000, 2001 and 2003.
