BARBARA PARKER ROBINSON

Barbara Parker Robinson was born in Santa Barbara and after Stephens College , spent over half her life in Washington , D.C. and northern Virginia. Her first novel, A Bit of Eden, about newcomers to foxhunting, was published by Dutton in 1977. Her second, Croquet, set in 1999 Montecito, about games played with dot.com money, says a lot about the game she loves best. She published Men, Twelve Stories, in 2002. Available at Amazon.com and the Tecolote Bookstore, the book includes tonight’s story, Poor Me. She currently resides at Casa Dorinda, where she keeps on writing.
