ABERLADO DIAZ ALFARO

Alfaro was born in Caguas, Puertoi Rico, July 24, 1919, son to evangelical minister and journalist, the Rev. Abelardo the Moral Diaz and Doņa Asuncio'n Alfaro.

Aberlado completed his Degree in Social Work specialising in physcology and became a  Social Worker in the Countryside of the Island. He wrote the scripts for the Program Stamps of Teyo Grace and Altarpiece of the Lot in the WAR, transmitter of the Government of Puerto Rico. In the Yaurel District of the Stream town, he wrote on pictures and types of our ground and gathered them in Terrazo. He also gathered them in his notebook, My Dreamed Island. 1967 Terrazo was awarded by the Society of University Journalists in Piedras River, 1947. Alberlado received I render of the Institute of Puerto Rican Literature that same year. Some of the stories of Terrazo have been translated to English, French and Czecheslovakian.
